Description:
Ceramic honeycomb filter is mainly used in metallurgy, foundry industry, the product features in a large surface area, high mechanical strength, good thermal shock resistance. In the casting of liquid metal, honeycomb ceramic filter can filter out impurities, reduce casting porosity, improve casting quality, as a result: casting cost is reduced and labour productivity is improved.
Working Principle:
When the molten liquid metal passes through the ceramic honeycomb channel, the debris, the slag and other inclusions are removed. Ceramic honeycomb filter improves the quality of molten metal flow. A stable and fast laminar molten metal flow prevents air from getting into the molten metal flow, molten metal getting oxidized and splashing out.
Benifits:
Experiments show that, after using honeycomb ceramic filters, the molten aluminium mobility is improves by about 25 to 30%; the casting rejection rate is reduced by 85%; the casting strength is increased by 10 to 20%; the mobility of molten iron is increased by 10 to 15%; the pore defects in casting is significantly reduced; the casting machining performance is greatly improved. Because the impurities are filtered out, the hard point in casting is also eliminated.
Application:
Currently, ceramic honeycomb ceramic filter has been applied to aerospace, automotive, machinery and many other casting areas, to improve the reliability and performance casting.
Specifications and Functions:
- Cordierite, Mullite, Zirconia mullite, Zirconia corundum filters for the highest temperature 1350 0C, 15000C, 1580 0C and 1650 0C.
- Good thermal shock properties.
- Uniform round hole, avoid small eddy and turbulence molten metal flow when metal liquid passing through.
- Accurate extrusion die makes the quality of ceramic honeycomb filter extremely stable and consistency.
